Water safety is the number one objective of our swim lessons. Our idea of water safety involves not only a healthy understanding of the risks that accompany water but also supervised exposure to it. Through repetition in an interactive environment, children can “soak up” good water safety habits and become as comfortable in water as they are on dry land.

YardSwim's founder, Bryan Quattlander, has been a health and safety advocate for years, dedicated to promoting water safety. The organization's mission is to save lives by teaching swimming lessons in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. YardSwim is a water safety hub, created to connect swim instructors in San Diego with water safety enthusiasts of all ages. The instructors on this site are experienced in water safety, have current safety certifications and are available to come out to a pool of your choice. Our mission is to help keep children safe and feeling confident in and around the water.
